MEET SARAH

Owner, Calligrapher & Designer

I have a varied background having worked in the corporate world for many years (from Apache helicopter procurement, to trainee solicitor, to legal recruitment consultant), a change of direction post-children led me in a new direction as a studio manager where I was trained in digital design work and website development. Having always had a love for handwriting, I taught myself calligraphy and it organically turned into more than a ‘hobby’. Soon I was approached for commissions and not long after I was asked to create stationery for a wedding at an exclusive local venue. My journey as a stationery designer started and I set up Dot the i Atelier. Over the past eight years, I have collaborated with individuals, design studios, wedding & event planners, PR companies, television production studios, as well as directly with a host of luxury brands.

Focussed on the details and dedicated to delivering an exceptional level of service

I have a discerning eye and my love of the sentimental is woven into the stationery I create. With meaningful details and storytelling it has a classic & timeless style, influenced by wildflowers, my French ancestry and antique ephemera. I’m able to compliment my creativity with my years of working in corporate business; dedicated to delivering an exceptional level of service and offering a highly attentive & personalised experience.
